Description
This excursion starts its tour at Ski Resort Vallter 2000, but we do not step on it; instead we walk in the opposite direction. We head next to a stream until reaching Portella de Mantet, a long and beautiful plain. We leave it behind and continue until reaching the Pic de la Dona. This has spectacular views over the whole ski resort, the other summits surrounding it (Gra de Fajol, Bastiments,…) and towards the French Pyrenees (Pics Perics, Carlit,…) with the impressive Canigó in the middle. Furthermore, on a clear day we can even see the sea. Once on the top, we will descend following the same path, and if the amount of snow allows it, through the Coll de la Geganta (saddle) until arriving to the ski resort Vallter.
